Noise

At Safran, we have long focused on reducing aircraft noise, which primarily impacts people living near airports. According to experts, each new generation of aircraft reduces its acoustic footprint by about 15% over the previous generation. Research into noise reduction is focusing not only on engines, but also on landing gear and other aircraft equipment.
