Safran’s active involvement in this program reflects a commitment to opening up opportunities for young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods to discover the company, help orient them towards career opportunities and provid training and employment. In 2009, some 236 young people (under 26) were welcomed by the Group for internship, work-study programs, or as full-time employees.
Safran is also a member of a network of 200 companies called IMS – “Entreprendre pour la Cité” – giving us access to proven expertise in addressing this employment challenge and providing a forum for feedback among companies who face similar issues.
