Supporting talented young artists
Since its creation in 2004, about 40 artists and projects have been able to benefit from its support.

The corporate Foundation supports young musicians in their training and the development of their professional careers, as well as supporting the arenas (concert halls, festivals) in which they perform, such as the Auditorium of the Musée du Louvre or the Musée de l’Armée, as in the framework of the latter’s musical season: "Jeunes Talents – Premières armes" ("Young talent - First arms").
The Safran Foundation for Music offers its support in particular to the trumpeter, Romain Leleu, who in 2009 won the "Instrumental Soloist Revelation" prize at the Victoires de la Musique Classique awards. His first CD with an orchestra comes out in November 2011 on the Aparté/Harmonia Mundi label.
Since classical music can also be an avenue for social integration, the corporate Foundation also works with young people from deprived areas in order to provide them with access to culture through learning a musical instrument. A shining example in this respect, the "Musique de chambre dans les quartiers" ("Chamber music in the suburbs") project, initiated by the Cité de la Musique in Paris, has been supported by the corporate Foundation since 2009. This initiative aims to provide children and young people from underprivileged backgrounds with a taste for playing an instrument in a string quartet (violin, viola or cello). It strives to infuse them with a sense of the wealth of the classical music repertoire, and familiarize them with the cultural infrastructure.
The level of excellence required to develop the high-tech activities of the Group finds its echo in the demands required in the playing of classical music.
