Safran corporate Foundation for Integration

Our commitment to corporate social responsability

The objective of the Safran corporate Foundation for integration is to encourage the social or professional integration of teenagers and young adults in various situations of handicap or disability.

By providing its support to social or professional integration projects for teenagers and young adults with motor, sensory, mental or social disabilities or handicaps, the corporate Foundation testifies to the daily and unanimous commitment of the Group and its employees to combating all forms of exclusion.

Since 2005, the Safran corporate Foundation for integration has supported over 40 projects, both in France and in the various countries where the Group has major sites. This essentially concerns projects presented by associations, but the corporate Foundation also initiates its own operations.

The corporate Foundation offers Group employees who so desire the possibility of getting involved in its projects. Hence, over twenty of them have become volunteers in the "Fleurs de sciences" ("Flowers of science") association, and run scientific workshops for young people in difficulty. Others have joined the "Frateli" association and sponsor, during the course of their studies and their entry into professional life, high-potential students who are on State bursaries.
An initiative launched by one particular employee, the "Elan" project has, for several years, enabled disabled young people to be received into the companies of the Group for day-release training leading to diplomas, and to receive support by means of internal tutoring in jobs suited to their types of disability.

The actions of the Safran corporate Foundation for integration contribute towards the solidarity culture of the Safran group and of all its personnel.
