Corporate Patronage

Safran is a leading international high-technology Group with three core businesses: Aerospace, Defense and Security. Our technologies help make life safer day after day, and contribute to satisfying humanity’s deepest longings.

The Group’s patronage and sponsorship policy reflects this approach. Our employees share the corporate value of solidarity, and more than ever want to take an active role in improving the quality of life for everybody.

The two Safran foundations and our patronage and sponsorship activities are part of the society facet of our corporate sustainable development policy. Whether the projects we support are part of the fight against exclusion, help disabled persons, promote social or professional integration, or support talented young artists, they are all chosen according to whether the expected benefits are applicable over the long term.

The depth and breadth of our Group is also reflected in the diversity of connections we form between our social and cultural commitments. This is clearly illustrated by our support for initiatives such as the Seasons of Solidarity concert series given by the Musiciens de la Prée orchestra, and our partnership with the French Ministry of Education concerning “meeting goals” networks.

No matter where you look among the hundreds of patronage and sponsorship actions we have undertaken since 2005, you will always see an investment – a “sustainable” investment.
