The Safran group’s involvement in the construction of the boat and its contribution of specialized equipment are unique in the ocean racing world.

More than 180 engineers from six Safran companies were involved in every stage of the 60 ft construction, contributing their expertise in a range of areas including composite materials, modeling, hydraulics and of course onboard electronics.
Skipper’s point of view, Marc Guillemot :
“ The real difference between Safran and its main competitors is that my sponsor plays a driving role in the ongoing development of the boat. Usually it is the skipper who does that,
but in my case I have been given every encouragement to optimize my boat by the Safran sailing team. And I benefit from a number of significant technology transfers from Safran.”
