Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, the landing gear specialist in the Safran group, contributes to a number of major commercial jetliners, in particular the Airbus A380 super-jumbo and Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
The landing gear and landing systems designed and produced byMessier-Bugatti-Dowty equip a large number of short, medium and long-range commercial jetliners, including all models in the Airbus family. In early 2009, Messier-Bugatti-Dowty delivered the 1,000th landing gear for the Airbus A330/A340 family, on an A330-300.
Messier-Bugatti-Dowty has been selected as the supplier of the main landing gear on the upcoming A350 XWB, and supplies the main and nose landing gear on Boeing’s new B787 Dreamliner.
