Safran is one of the two world leaders in the market for engine nacelles on commercial airplanes.
Group company Aircelle is a specialist in nacelle system integration, providing nacelle systems for all segments of the market, from regional and business jets to mainline commercial jets by Airbus and Boeing, all the way to the Airbus A380 super-jumbo jet. Aircelle is also one of the Group’s centers of excellence for composite materials, and makes composite parts for engines and aerostructures.
Aircelle contributes to some of the latest jetliners to hit the market, and was chosen as the sole nacelle system supplier on the Airbus A380.
