In addition to its leadership in commercial markets, Group braking specialist Messier-Bugatti-Dowty supplies carbon brakes for a number of military aircraft, including the Dassault Aviation Mirage 2000 and Rafale fighters.
Messier-Bugatti-Dowty enjoys a broad presence in the military market, for instance as supplier of wheels and brakes on the Dassault Aviation Mirage 2000 and Rafale fighters. However, the company’s most striking success has been on U.S. Air Force aircraft, as supplier of original equipment and retrofit solutions on the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III transport and KC-135 in-flight tanker. Messier-Bugatti-Dowty is also supplying wheels and carbon brakes on the new Airbus Military A400M airlifter.
