The MTR390 has been developed in a partnership between three leading gas turbine manufacturers, MTU, Turbomeca and Rolls Royce, forming the joint engine company, MTR. 200 MTR390 engines have been delivered, logging 16,000 hours in flight.
The MTR390 engine is specially designed to provide excellent performances in very demanding environments. With a growth potential up to 25 %, it powers helicopters in the 5 to 7 ton class.
