Arrius

The Arrius turboshaft engine family, designed and developed by Turbomeca (Safran group), powers light and medium single and twin-engine helicopters. These turbines and their derivatives equip a number of both civil and military machines.

Launched in 1981, the Arrius engine powers latest-generation single and twin-engine helicopters. Four sub-families have been developed, the Arrius 1A/1M, Arrius 2F, Arrius 2B1/2B2 and Arrius 2K1/2K2. They develop takeoff power ranging from 479 to 716 shp (357 to 530 kW).
