Helicopter engines

Safran is the world’s leading manufacturer of gas turbine engines for civil helicopters.

(c) Pons / Turbomeca

Turbomeca (Safran group) produces and sells a complete range of turbine engines for civil helicopters, and provides comprehensive support services through its international network of service centers and repair shops.

Developing 450 to 3,000 shaft horsepower (shp), Turbomeca engines power machines made by the world’s leading helicopter manufacturers: Eurocopter, Sikorsky, Agusta, Denel, Kamov, HAL, Boeing, etc. Also a major player in the military rotorcraft market, Turbomeca engines power helicopters such as the Tiger, NH90, Agusta A109 and AW101 for armed forces worldwide. Because of its global presence, Turbomeca offers top-flight local support around the world, in particular through a team of about one hundred field reps.
