Morpho receives first wagering terminal order from TattsBet

Paris, February 11, 2014

TattsBet, one of the leading providers of betting services in Australia, has selected Morpho (Safran) to supply 3,500 wagering terminals for the sales outlets under its jurisdiction.

This latest contract follows a series of orders from parent company Tatts Group for a total of 6,000 lottery terminals and 4,000 ticket checkers.

TattsBet and Morpho teamed up to jointly design a terminal that would place punters at the heart of the betting process. The result is an innovative terminal which fully meets all current and future requirements for a point-of-sale terminal. The middleware provided with these terminals is being developed in partnership with LotSys, a subsidiary of the French lottery operator, La Française des Jeux.

"Following our long-standing collaboration with Tatts Group, we are honored that its wagering arm TattsBet has entrusted us with this first order," said Philippe Petitcolin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Morpho. "This large-scale contract clearly reflects Morpho's competitiveness in international markets, and our ability to develop innovative solutions that support our customers' dynamic business development."

"This is a once in a decade opportunity to select an entirely new terminal type," said TattsBet Chief Operation Officer Barrie Fletton. "It coincides with the modernization of our extensive four state retail network and for the first time provides a PC based solution that is user friendly, efficient and cost effective."

Morpho is one of the world's leading manufacturers of gaming terminals, capitalizing on proven R&D capabilities and extensive production skills and facilities. With more than 200,000 terminals already in service, Morpho confirms its ability to deliver innovative turnkey solutions, tailored to the requirements of lottery and wagering operators worldwide.
