Engineering students elect Safran

Safran is ranked the third favorite employer by engineering school students in the league table published on early April by the specialist research institute Trendence, a jump of seven ranks compared to 2012.

This annual survey polled over 20,000 undergraduates at business and engineering grandes écoles and universities. The survey's aims include achieving a clearer idea of student views about prospective employers and what they expect from them, identifying their decision-making criteria and also evaluating and comparing companies' appeal.

"Reaping the rewards for work carried out on employer branding"
Universum France also published its "Top Employer" league table for students at French business and engineering schools and university students. Safran is ranked in sixth position in this league table (for engineering school students), an improvement of 11 places compared to last year
The Group even achieved fifth place in the university student league table. "With these good results we are reaping the rewards for work carried out on employer branding over the last year, says Stéphanie de La Tour du Pin, Safran Campus Relations and Employer Branding Manager. We have rolled out external communications campaigns, raised our profile on social media and maintained a presence on campuses among students."

Across all of its markets – aeronautics, aerospace and security – Safran boasts strong and sustainable growth. In order to support its development, the Group must recruit ever more highly-skilled staff. This is why it devotes significant resources to attracting the best talent and creating genuine career opportunities. In 2012, Safran recruited 7,500 people and anticipates recruiting a similar number in 2013.
