Safran Engineering Services announces academic collaboration with PES University. (English only)

Safran Engineering Services India (SESI), a subsidiary of Safran, announces academic collaboration with People's Education Society University (PESU) for 3 years (2014 – 2017). The engagement, driven by SESI through Crucible of Research and Innovation (CORI) Centre of PESU will entail series of projects for PESU students and academic lectures for practicing engineers in SESI. The collaboration will initially cater to the fields of electrical, mechanical and systems engineering.
In addition to experience in analysis of aircraft structures, mechanical systems, aerodynamics, propulsion systems for small aircraft and electrical control systems, the CORI team will contribute with its expertise and research capabilities in the areas of electrical systems, which is in line with Safran's focus on more-electric-aircraft.
This collaboration will enable SESI & PESU to prepare enthusiastic engineers for tomorrow's aerospace challenges. It also bolsters SES's strategy of strengthening the solutions providing approach by developing competencies on state of the art technologies
